Local BNAR members donate time and talents to beautify Community Cancer Center space

Thank you to our local BNAR members who donated their time this beautiful October morning to landscape a very special space in the Normal community!

Led by the Bloomington-Normal Association of Realtors (BNAR) and thanks to seed money received through a National Association of Realtors grant, the Community Cancer Center tiered sitting wall and gathering space was completed earlier this year with the help of local area businesses. Overlooking the beautiful gardens just off Constitution Trail, this space provides patients and their families a sanctuary for reflection, meditation and regeneration.

Now through the landscaping talents of Dan Slagell, Ron Briscoe, Jodi McDermott and Anne Bailen, this special place received it’s finishing touches with the addition of ornamental grasses, flowers and other carefully chosen plants to complete the space. Kuddos to this talented group of BNAR members!
